I spent the night in Columbus last night. My parents and I went to see “Memphis” at the Ohio theater - it was fantastic!
This morning I hit up TJ Maxx and got some fabulous deals. It’s looking like a good, albeit rainy, weekend!

I had some fabulous barbecue today. Pulled pork and freshly cut french fries. YUM
These last few days have been pretty chill. Just drinking iced tea and working on the tan. It’s a fabulous use of my time. Ha!
I went to bed at 10:30 last night
What a departure from my usual 2am bedtime in Scotland! I was lounging on the couch watching Storage Wars and before I knew it, I was out cold. This time change is really getting to me!

In about 20 hours, I will be in Ohio.
It has been quite a year. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed it. While I’m sad to be leaving my friends for the summer, I’m stoked to get home to my normal life in Ohio. Scotland is great, but sometimes I just miss the predictability of being back home. It will be wonderful to get back to some of my favorite places (Tim Horton’s, anyone?) and see my favorite people.
Here’s hoping for a good flight back and an awesome summer!
